This is an ideal retreat for friends to get together or a family reunion. Leadhills is Scotland s second highest village at the heart of the Southern Upland Way and very popular with walkers cyclists and hikers. There is a local hotel and shop with further facilities available in Thornhill. Enjoy a summer trip on the narrow gauge railway to visit the Lead Mining Museum in nearby Wanlockhead. Also home to Scotland s highest golf course. This well-appointed and attractively furnished accommodation offers FOUR bedrooms: on the first-floor 1 king-size. On the ground-floor 1 master bedroom with king-size bed en-suite bathroom with rain shower and WC and French doors to patio 1 bedroom/playroom with king-size bed double sofa bed and French doors to patio and 1 double with adult size bunk beds. Bathrooms: on ground-floor with roll top bath and rain shower and additional bathroom with rain shower on first-floor. Lounge/kitchen/diner: on the first-floor open-plan with woodburner (first basket of logs included) TV with Sky TV and DVD. Kitchen area: cooker microwave coffee machine with pods provided fridge/freezer dishwasher and washing machine. Utility room on ground floor. Amenities: Bed linen towels electric and heating via eco heating system (air-source heat pump and radiators) included. Wi-Fi available. Regret no smoking. 2 dogs welcome. Additional info: 100 security deposit is payable to the owner prior to arrival. Use of telephone by arrangement. For couples exclusive use of first floor accommodation is available at a 40% discount during off peak weeks. Village shop and hotel within walking distance. Arrival: 4pm
